Yup, he's right. Every dumb blockbuster movie has to have a "diverse" cast. They always prefer to cast the "good" white guys as betas, any alpha male is usually a "bad guy" or bully type. Women and blacks cast in roles of highly skilled professions, like scientists, lawyers, tech gurus. A complete alternate reality to real life, where there are so few women and blacks in those fields. Then of course there is usually the token queer, the funny thing is that queers in movies and tv are usually cast as comic relief because they are always easy to laugh at.
