Approximately 400 Hezbollah field commanders have been ordered to leave Lebanon for various South American countries, including Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador, according to a report on Wednesday.
A Latin American diplomatic source told Saudi outlet Al Hadath that 200 commanders have already reached South America, with the rest expected to depart Lebanon in due course.

Brazil has a significant Arab diaspora, with estimates ranging from 7 to 12 million people of Arab descent. The largest concentration is in São Paulo, followed by Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and other states.
Venezuelans of Arab descent, primarily from Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, have a significant presence in Venezuela, particularly along the Caribbean coastline and in Margarita Island. These communities are mainly located in urban areas and the island of Margarita, representing about 5% of the country's population. Many are Christians, belonging to various Christian denominations.
The area in Colombia with the largest concentration of Arab descent people is the Caribbean region, specifically along the Magdalena River. Cities like Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Cartagena, and Maicao have significant Levantine communities, with Maicao being the historical center of the Arab and Muslim community
