Hey Starubucks: It's the $8 coffees, not the hybrid work schedule, that's the problem.

Starbucks is forcing people back in the office from 3 days a week to 4, while their own CEO works remote. Meanwhile sales are down 1%. How long until they say 4 days a week isn't enough? People aren't going back to a 5 days a week schedule again, sorry. Not when the work can get done remotely just as easily.

Trump's solution to expensive coffee is tariffs on Brazil to pressure a judge not to prosecute his buddy .

anybody that pays 8 bucks for a cup of coffee is a moron......
Sure it's handy if you don't have time to make your own but seriously
all companies I worked for have free coffee and it's usually damn good vendor stuff

skip the time to go through starbucks, use that time to get to work early and get yourself a free cup
on the dime of your employer!
besides who tries to drive while sipping hot coffee? accident much?

eyes on the road

Very few companies have free coffee.

The best tasting and cheapest coffee that I have found is at my own house.
Yep, lots of rubes out there.

When I was working for DuPont I would stop at the 7-11 every work morning and get a medium cup of coffee (a dark roast I liked) and a breakfast sandwich. At the time it was around $4.00 per morning.

Then one day I figured up the cost of that over a year's time compared to making it at home. OMG, it was enough to pay for my hunting lease membership!

So, I broke-out the percolator we got as a wedding gift we had never used, got up a half-hour early, and started making my own coffee. The wife was only too happy to fix me breakfast and I never looked back.

To this day I carry my provender with me. ;)

You only drink coffee once in the morning?

You only drink coffee once in the morning?
well that is the general consensus for most, they don't drink it all day long
I was never that addicted and it could screw up trying to sleep for the next day

moderation is key

My inlaws in Peru send me back home with some GOOD SHIT every year! 😃 This year my wife's sisters and a niece took a short vacation to the edge of the Amazon jungle. They did a little shopping up there and brought me back 2lbs of an interesting blend. The stuff my bro-in-law down there usually gets me is better, actually. 😏 Last year I gave him a beautiful glass French press I bought at a specialty shop here in P.A.. He loves it. He never had one before. I'm glad it survived the 4000 mile trip. 😄

I hope they dont go out of business

I collect used coffee grounds from them every winter for my garden

Don’t know. Expensive, flavored coffee is not my thing.

Generally, the only reason I went to Starbucks was that it was the only real able place in my area that had the New York Times on sale. I get my coffee out of a pot at home, or in a convenience store on the way to work.

I get tea bags from Amazon and use them to make single cups of coffee.
1 teaspoon of coffee
3 minutes in the microwave

Well said. Stick it to your employer whenever you can.
