Hey don't worry about the drone sightings! Nothing to see!

I suspect that would do it, if somebody like me or you and if lucky, even then, due to training. Easy to miss, shooting at flying target, at night, looking up. Duck hunters like 12 gage and 10 gage, even in the daytime, so probably the way to go. Shooting toward the sky in or near a city, has obvious drawbacks, where a miss with a shotgun, not as dangerous with the round come back down.
It's hard to hit a moving object, but if it's hovering it's easier than you think. Not to mention the fact that 12 gauge shot only goes 50 meters before it becomes useless,. It all depends on how close you are. Now a 12 ga slug will travel farther, but it doesn't have as much range as a 30-30, 308, or 30-06.

I'm going with what we already know about our government. They are lying to us which they have proven time and again. They know who is controlling the drones and it is THEM.

Is it me or is the Pentagon just as confused as the president? God help us if they ever track an incoming ICBM. Will the convoluted relationship between the Pentagon and a dozen federal agencies give permission to shoot the freaking thing down in time?

If might not be healthy to be outside at night after Jan 20, in cities where these drones are flying. Getting hit by one or on crashing to the roadway in front of you after a 12 gage blows it out of the sky may not be a healthy thing.

i live in CT & a few have been spotted a little too close to the sub base & electric boat. not comforting at all.

Falling buckshot is probably not going to kill you, but but be ready to duck for a drone the size of a small sports car. I expect some will be taken down within the next month or shortly thereafter, FAA Regs or No FAA Regs.
