The President does set foreign policy. Whether Biden was acting on his own, or whether Obama simply turned a blind eye, the fact is this: Joe Biden used his position as Vice President to obtain hundreds of thousands of dollars for his son in the Burisma affair, and most likely a far higher amount in his dealings with China. He also committed a major fuckup in the process, and should be held accountable for his actions. Biden should drop out of the presidential race for what he did. He is not fit to lead this country, no way, no how.
Somebody out there "Owns him" ! look to who his biggest donors are.
"Trump’s mistake in Syria is the unexpected ‘lottery win’ that further strengthened Moscow’s position in the Middle East and undermined America’s prestige as a rational political player and a reliable partner,”
raved Mikhail Rostovsky in his article for the Russian newspaper
Moskovsky Komsomolets.
The
Post reports, "Kremlin-funded Russian state television has openly sided with Trump throughout the Ukraine scandal and even during the events that led up to it. For months on end, Dmitry , the host of a Sunday news show called “Vesti Nedeli” (or “The Weekly News”) on state-controlled television station Rossiya-24,
encouraged Trump’s push for a Ukrainian investigation of former vice president Joe Biden and his son, as well as the groundless theory that Ukraine — not Russia — interfered in U.S. presidential elections in 2016."
Which side Trump is on is very difficult to determine in view of the support he is getting from hostile dictatorships.
Has Trump ever met a foreign dictator he hasn't liked?
You mean like Obama and Chavez, Putin, the corrupt Ukraine president, and lastly Castro?
When did Obama call Chavez a really good person? Obama met with dictators- and was attacked by the right for it.
Trump prefers to meet with dictators rather than with elected officials- Trump still hasn't met with the elected President of the Ukraine- but he sure does meet with dictators- and loves them.
Lets review shall we?
"I was really being tough and so was he," Trump said. "And we would go back and forth. And then we fell in love. No really. He wrote me beautiful letters."
"They were great letters. And then we fell in love," he continued.
Trump’s comments on falling in love with Kim Jong Un ‘shocking and appalling,’ says conservative writer
He added: “I may be wrong, but I believe that chairman Kim has a great and beautiful vision for his country, and only the United States, with me as president, can make that vision come true.
* "Kim Jong Un has been, really, somebody that I've gotten to know very well and respect,
If he says great things about me, I'm going to say great things about him. I've already said, he is really very much of a leader. I mean, you can say, oh, isn't that a terrible thing — the man has very strong control over a country. Now, it's a very different system, and I don't happen to like the system. But certainly, in that system, he's been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader. .
"He is a great guy. I think we had a really good meeting.
I think he is a good person, we started discussing trade. I think we should have trade between Russia and USA, two great countries. We had a great meeting yesterday.
He is a terrific person.
Hey Democrats-----The President, Not Diplomats, Sets Official Foreign Policy
Trump on Chinese President Xi Jinping
* "And I like President Xi a lot. I consider him a friend, and -- but I like him a lot. I've gotten to know him very well. He's a strong gentleman, right? Anybody that -- he's a strong guy, tough guy." (
June 30, 2019)
* "President Xi, who is a strong man, I call him King, he said, 'But I am not King, I am president.' I said, 'No, you're president for life and therefore, you're King.' He said, 'Huh. Huh.' He liked that." (
April 2, 2019)

"I had President Xi, who's a friend of mine, who's a very, very good man." (
