A man accused of assaulting a girl on a Dundee street said he would show her “how to have a good time” before assaulting her, a court has heard.

Ilia Belov, 22, is alleged to have carried out the attack on the 12-year-old in St Ann Lane, in the Lochee area of the city, in August last year.

He is also accused of behaving in a “threatening or abusive manner” towards her and three other girls, all of whom were aged between 12 and 14.

A trial at Dundee Sheriff Court heard on Wednesday that Belov made sexual remarks to the girl while he was walking past the group as they were heading towards a bus stop."
