Here's the problem with the gun debate.

I felt that this belongs in this forum because most such articles strongly advocate for stricter gun laws.

This is a prime example of the misinformation available on the subject. I challenge anyone to find one single data point in this article.

The problem is that every time something like that happens, there's a hubabaloo about it then in a week or so everyone forgets about till the next time. Ultimately it becomes repetitious and tedious.

It's extremely tiresome and I don't give a rat's ass any more.

I have a sense that this time will be different. My feeling might come from the fact that I'm a Catholic, but it just feels different.

The left cult is hoisted on its own petard because this time, they just continue to pump out really vicious publicity of themselves -- people in this board are not even trying to hide their glee at the fact that Catholics got injured and martyred by their cult.

"ALSO THE LEFT" seems somewhat open minded.
My point is, for the last few years, the establishment has been trying to get folks to believe that crime is at historic lows, while also telling us that gun violence is at an all time high.

Crime is down but still high.
America has this thinking flaw, that if some problem declines a little that it has been entirely solved.

I have an easy way to interpret these debates. Don't listen to the left. They only lie and produce false narratives. It's the ends that justify the means. Listen to Independents if you want a wide variety of viewpoints.

Yeah, I long ago stopped listening to them for any reason but to watch them humiliate themselves.

A real acknowledged Mental Illness tsunami will need new considerations for Sensible Firearms Restrictions ?

There's no debate.
The left wants to restrict gun ownership as much as it possibly can because it believes the state should have a monopoly on force.
It will not compromise, and it will not stop until it gets what it wants.
Thus, there's no reason to negotiate or debate with them - your every response should begin and end with "**** you - no".

The question is whether Johns Hopkins is biased against gun ownership. Universities generally are. Its easy to fudge data based on selected unverified and biased polling data to get the results you want.
