2018 honda pilot...belongs to fil..does not have a key only a fob...hubby is down east...they had to disconnect the battery to shut the car off...we have no clue how fil messed fob up but it wont stop the car off...how do we manage this? can the fob be reset somehow?

Having had some problems with the FOB on my Honda, I can tell you that YouTube has some very helpful videos. Clear search terms help.

If it's like the one in the video in this thread, it's doable.

Some of those fobs are crazy on foreign cars. Like chinese puzzles.

I have a Toyota, and it has that "Toyota Security" thing.

Ya gotta pump the brake pedal and bump the ignition a certain way.

When you get into some of the expensive high end luxury lines, some of their fobs really get expensive and crazy to deal with.
