Just kidding, you don't have to answer that.. I like to treat newbies good.

The current GOP sucks. The only major difference between them and the dems is the manner in which they want to screw my grandchildrean out of their future.

Fixtures like Dodd, Kennedy (pick one, they're interchangable), Frank, Pelosi, and Reid are still around because the system is broken. There will always be people who only hear the call of power and greed, but if the system works, then the only thing they hear is the door smacking them in the ass on their way back out the door.

As far as Sarah Palin goes, I don't think she is presidential material yet, but then again I don't think Obama is qualified to flip burgers and he gets to sit in the oval office whenever he can find the door.

Shoulda went and looked first. Stockman was a hack back in the 80's, and now he's writing op-ed pieces for the NY Times. Probably angling for a job in the Obama administration. Reaganomics czar? maybe

Just goes back to what I was saying. The system is broke. The combination of reduced spending and tax cuts revitalized the economy. But rather than usiing that revenue to reduce the deficit, the Congresscritters all screamed like little girls and headed to the DC Walmart and spent it all on pork. (and before someone pops in to tell me that (a) DC has no Walmart or (b) all of congress has been banned for shoplifting, it was an allegorical reference)
