@ D5; one must remember that Joe is a profe$$ional politician(like most elected{?} officials) much more than a Representative of our USA, the constituencies federal Constitution/BoR & it's citizenry. As much as I detest to admit it the problem does NOT primarily reside with the elected officials the American constituency votes into office. The primary problem with elected officials & often poorly crafted legislation not to mention outright corruption resides with US, the American constituency as a body whole. The current political environment in our USA appear to emanate from distinct venues namely groupthink, gullibility, pride, *FEAR, envy(greed), which tragically can be summed up in two words: human nature. Often summed up by both psychologists & sociologists as well as other disciplines as simply the human condition(accurate description in my opinion) it sums it all up.

The statist left part of the American constituency strongly exhibits a phobia known in the field of psychology as 'Autophobia'(associated to Monophobia) which is a phobia(situational phobia NOT a mental disorder!) based on the unreasonable *FEAR of being alone/isolated which somewhat could LOOSELY be related to the phobia termed as claustrophobia or the *FEAR of entrapment/immobility especially in a tight confine. When *FEAR escalates to the point of becoming totally unreasonable then sheer anxiety leads directly to panic & panic leads to irrational decisions. So if one wonders WHY the state of affairs with America's current political environment is so irrational then look no further than the *FEAR OF *FEAR propagated by the educational system, MSM, RNC/DNC, oligarchy & $pecial intere$t$ just to name a few. To be truthful on the subject a fair amount of conservatives & even a few Libertarians have been guilty of adopting the *FEAR propaganda spewed out by the before mentioned entities which just adds fuel to the fire.
