It was a Congressionally passed mandate to remove all statues of that Nature....

However, in 1900 some Confederate Soldiers were moved in to a special section of Arlington as a Memorial and the bronze statue in 1914 from what I just read, as part of the whole Confederate Memorial and Reconciliation, and belongs with the Confederate graves and memorial in Arlington. It should be put back imo, and was a mistake in this case to remove it from where it clearly belonged, imo.

Technically though, Hegseth should ask congress who mandated the removal, to return it.

Nope. They're trying to erase our history, like communists always do, and they want us to forget that they are the political party created to keep slavery in America. They're also the party of the KKK and Jim Crow. They want us to forget all of that.

Well duh Marty...it was removed because it was ordered to be removed.... CONGRESS runs/manages DC -delegated to them in the Constitution...(not the President).

Congress created a board to run the city and Capitol, a person from Metro Police, a person from Capitol Police, a Park Service person I think, and the two Sergeant of Arms, and the DC Mayor who are under a Congressional and a Senate Committee.

History tells us this is what communists always do everywhere they have any power.
