He was demoralized and got captured, to condemn Obama for rescuing a soldier (that deserted or not) is crazy. Even if he wasn't a soldier, it would be inhuman for the US government to not try its best to bring him home.

Obama didn't rescue anyone. ****, he didn't even order his rescue, so stop trying to make this into a everyone hating Obama for doing good. He made a choice and six of his fellow soldiers died trying to find him. Reports show he helped the Taliban.

Haven't forgotten about all those dying while on the waiting list. And even though around 200,000 still wait, this guy probably got moved to the front of the line.
