Have you watched OKC Thunder play defense? There's your 2025 NBA champion.

Money is usually on the team with home court advantage. I remember seeing some stats on this. NBA playoffs has the biggest home court advantage. There's a home field advantage in the NFL, but it's modest. Maybe around 60? MLB has very slight, if I remember right. Maybe a little over 50%. I'll have to look up hockey. My feeling is there must be, but slight. I'll guess mid 50 to late 50.

Denver won 2 close ones on experience. I think OKC still wins the series. I didn't realize how good Brunson is. He plays like a fullback and is money at the end of the game.
It feels like the Knicks must win the next game or else boston will win. But I don’t see them beating Cleveland. Indiana maybe. I certainly don’t see Boston winning it all.

I won’t count Denver out yet but if OKC loses it’s going to be lack of experience. Seems like all great teams have to lose before they figure out how to win. Okc or Denver could win it all.

Maybe Minnesota matches up well with okc or Denver. Can’t wait. Wonder if golden state would have beat them if curry was healthy? When is he coming back. But it doesn’t look like Minnesota or golden state is going to win it all.

I’d love to see Cleveland and okc win and play each other in the finals. The two best regular season teams.

I never watch the regular season but NBA playoffs is great. Denver has squeaked out 2 wins, I think OKC finds their groove and evens the series. They know now they can't let the Nuggets be close at the end so I think they will try to run them out of the arena. We'll see!

Good call by you.
I had DEV +7.5/U225. Worried but came in.

Had OKC U110.5. Missed DEN O103.5. Two small bets QTR1,2 split.

So much work, agony. But? Not doing much else. If it's on, I'm working the phone. Hunting for that sure thing.

Is Haliburton fixing his part in games or is CLEVE 20pts better than IND? That last game was a monster butt kicking.

Right now it looks like OKC is going to come back but just like in tennis, the hardest game to win is the last one. Closing.

I'm still not 100% sure the Knicks are going to win. Like, if I could bet $1000 that the Knicks are going to win the series, up 3 to 1 right now, would I risk $1000? No. I should but I wouldn't because Boston is a really good team.

I'm happy for the Pacers and Knicks. Not sure why I'm rooting for Denver and Golden State. I normally root for the younger team who hasn't won one already. Maybe it's because Denver and Golden State are the underdog. Same reason I'm happy for Indiana and NY. Fuck the top ranked teams. Ha ha Boston and Cleveland. Better luck next year.

And with no dog in this fight, I don't care who makes it to the finals this year. I'd like to see the East win it all that's for sure. But I would also like to see Joker get another ring. I may be rooting for Golden State now but I don't want them to win another championship. Not like that's gonna happen. But you never know so maybe it's a good thing Minnesota is up 2 to 1 and Curry is still out. He may come back game 6 at the earliest. It may not go 6.

Sounds like your handlers have not issued talking points yet? You don’t know which one to hope wins out and refuses WH visit.

I will say, OKC is making life tough on Jocic. He looks to be playing not superstar level on both ends. They will lose if it continues.

OKC is a better team, Denver's bench consists of Westbrook and no one else. This Denver team is playing well because it has a very good, top level core of starters, and that is it. If they are tired or having a bad game, there is no one else to turn to.

OKC will win the war of attrition in 7 games, maybe 6.

My handlers say you are wrong. Look who Denver had on that championship team that's no longer there.

Bruce is in NO
Jeff Green is in Houston
KCP is with the Magic

This is why Denver is losing. They lost key role players. It's like when the Bucks lost Jrue.

I think Hartenstien has missed every shot? DEN has almost been lucky not to be swept. But if Jocic dominates and Mr. DEN keeps playing well they still have a shot. But you are right. OKC is better. Faster. Hungrier and better coached too.

Off topic. Yannis wants out. Translation. Lakers. Then they can say "did not fit with LeBron" again.

Seriously, he won title at MIL. They pay him $65 million and bring in who he asks. Can't these guys ever just stay and show thankyou for having me? When is enough enough? Win another at MIL and if not? So what? The traveling is shorter.

And: load MGT. As Chuck says, " if you get paid $60 million and you can't play basketball twice a week"... somethings wrong. Give me players that want to play. Not like NFL players who say "I don't get paid more to make playi". This also turns away the 47% of fans.

I thought I had a “lock” BOS to win over 210.5. Another bet BOS over 110.5.

Things started out great. Bos up 10,15 whatever. TV on MUTE playing chess, glancing uo now & then. NY began to get within five, seven, three…..I began mild panic.

Currently NY by 12 with 2 min left. I cant live like this! NY is not capable of shooting with BOS “stars”?

Now Tatum goes out, looked very hurt laying there? He’s done for the season as it looked? I remoted away.

Need 3 more points for a consolation prize. Real really sucketh massive, 38sec left.

Pritchard gave me a 3ptr from way out (113). Deeply Sighing. UGH!

I'm a little shocked at how well Denver has played, I thought the Clippers were going to take them out, and now they are even with the #1 seed 2-2. It's clear that Murray and Joker are both next level players, and the entire starting 5 have the ring, Gordon has been playing out of his mind while Porter Jr. continues to be a middling power forward who is 6'11" but plays like someone smaller. Braun is solid but Westbrook has been the difference maker in both series so far, not forgetting Gordon, but. without Westbrook the Clippers would have beat em.

Westbrook makes a lot of bad plays, but he has gotten better in both series the longer they go on. His shooting has been clutch, at clutch times.

Braun is still there guarding SGA. The rest? Nice filler. Green is 40 or nothing at HOU? How is that a missing piece?
Well I was just repeating what the sports talk guys were saying. They are rarely right. LOL. I don't know. Maybe the guy filled a roll that Denver needed. He does something really well. And without it, they won't win it all. Maybe he just got lucky last time and made all his shots and if they didn't trade him, he'd suck this year. IDK. They're just talking about why Denver isn't dominating like they did the one year they did. Same with Bucks and Celtics. One and done. That's actually typical. Rare to win back to back. I know because the Piston's did it in my lifetime. Boy was that great. To be champs for more than 1 year. 1 years just not enough to feel arrogant about how good your team is.

I'm not saying who I THINK is going to win. Everyone including me though Boston would beat the Knicks. We are all collectively shocked they are up 3 to 1. And Boston lost game 4 before Tatum's phantom injury at the end.

It almost seemed like a tantrum. He can't let NY beat him in a best of 7 series so he's going to take his ball home with him. Well sorry boy but your team is going to have to play one more game. Maybe you even beat the Knicks at home and the Knicks win in MSG game 6.

I bet every team wishes they could play against NY. Must be fun playing against Spike Lee and all those other celebrities. I thought Boston was going to break their hearts last night but NOPE.

So this is more about what I want, not what I think is going to happen. I love it that Indiana is beating Cleveland. Why? Because Indiana made it to the Eastern finals last year. They deserve to advance this year. Cleveland needs to get their hearts broke first before they advance. That's how it goes in basketball, usually.

And get this? Now NY is going to have home court advantage against Indiana. They are the number 3 and Indiana is number 4. Holy shit. 4 games at MSG?

Seems like OKC is going to win it all. If I had to pick a team.

It'd be cool if Minnesota knocked off OKC or Denver

Ultimately, I would like to see a Knicks NBA championship team before I die.

Everyone is writing off the Celtics, I'm not sure I would do that yet. They could win the next 3 in a row, if they have a hot game and actually close it out in Game 5, don't be surprised if they win in NY in Game 6, and then it's back home for a deciding Game 7.

Last year they reeled off 3 wins in a row after being down 0-3, this team is kind of weird like this.

Not without Jason. This reminds me of when the Piston's finally beat LA in the finals. Magic got hurt. Did that taint our championship? Fuck no.

Okay maybe a little but we didn't care. In the end, we will be Champs for a year. Sorry lots of players get hurt. Not our problem.

But I get it. You want to see the best version of the Celtics and Golden State so these kids have to overcome their older peers who have owned them since they got in the league.

Minnesota doesn't care Curry is out.

Even with Tatum, we saw last night Boston has lost their mojo. OR, you can say NY is playing better than any of us expected.

If Boston had that magic you are talking about still, they would have won last night. They gave it their best but they could not deny NY.

Remember in the past when Boston beat NY or whoever they beat, NY wasn't as good as they are now. And Boston's time is over.

I heard this morning this Boston team is breaking up. Something about how the league allows teams to pay players? If allowed Boston would be able to keep their core together but the league is going to force them to lose players? Anyways, good riddance. That just means another city gets to win. Boston has won enough for my lifetime.

So right you are.
Celtics fans can't say things would have turned out different if Tatum was healthy. odanny is trying to pull that shit. Predicting Boston will win the next 3 games without Tatum.

Now I sort of wish Tatum was healthy so we could see Boston is FINISHED.

Boston became the first team to host a game seven after trailing 3–0 in a series against the Heat in 2023
