I have never seen anything like the way Florida gas stations price their gas... (a little back story) ....where my deceased parent's house is which the hubby and I are staying at, and soon to inherited owners....north of Tampa, which is where the hubby and I are from, prior to moving to New England region for my job.....we were married in Tampa, the hubby born there....
Anyway, up here there is a Wal-Mart a few miles away in town and coming from our direction it is the first major store in a line of stores and fast food joints heading towards its downtown, and we pass it for various chores several times a day. The Wal-Mart has a gas station at our entrance and visible from the main road we drive on.
I am shocked that passing in the morning gasoline is one price, same day after noon another price, and at night, again...the same darn day, another price and who knows if it goes on in the wee hours? That's just crazy to me! Coming from rural Maine, near my home the price may change the next morning or maybe not for a couple of days or more..... Maybe we don't sell as much so their tanks don't empty as quick??? I don't know?
But this Florida crap going on with price changes within hours, really seems like some kind of scam, and should be illegal! Imo!!!!!
