Unfortunately Americans consume a lot of fast foods and ultra processed foods. Unfortunately these are all not very healthy, also a lot of Americans also choose a very sedentary lifestyle which along with the foods leads to obesity and or an early grave.

Have you heard of Ezekiel Bread?

"Gott in Himmel " , I thought .

I replied , " Have you heard the quaint American admonishment ,

" Halt die Klappe , boring old fart ".

I was eating Spelt bread for a while, but it got way too expensive.

Supposedly Spelt bread is supposed to do the opposite of regular wheat bread.
Instead of forcing your system to build up bread cards and causing fat cells to grow, Spelt does the opposite.

And I can say I never felt bloated after eating Spelt bread like I did with regular flour/wheat bread.

this is modern ezekiel bread....

no it is not. Dave's offering is "White Bread" Done right. Read the label

Ezekiel bread is nothing more than "sprouted grain" bread. Dave's bread is not sprouted grain bread.
My wheat sprouts are spectacular. I grow my own.

Generally, Ezekiel bread is considered the healthier option compared to Dave's Killer Bread, primarily due to its use of sprouted grains. Sprouting increases nutrient absorption and bioavailability, making it easier for the body to utilize the vitamins, minerals, and protein found in the bread. While Dave's Killer Bread is a healthier choice than many commercial breads due to its use of whole grains and organic ingredients, it doesn't offer the same level of nutrient enhancement as Ezekiel bread.

If I make bread, it's usually with Spelt flour. The only reason being is, it was in the cupboard. The girlfriend had been buying it.
