and if so, how often?

i only read about it today
Thunderbird is only one of the fortified wines that company produced. It was produced in two strengths--13.5%, red label and 19%, black label. That company also produced a libation called Night Train Express that was virtually the same wine and alcohol content.

I drank it once.....didn't like it.

Mad Dog 20-20 is another.

Puked my guts up after drinking that.

I was coming from Germany where the booze doesn't tend to make you sick.

MD 20-20 was the choice for 90's college students.

Too sweet for me, I stuck with Bud 40's and Busch 20 oz glass bottles by the case.

Not many German beers or wines reach the 19-20% level. The companies that produced Thunderbird, Night Train Express, MD20-20 and Ripple have severely curtailed their production after push back from many state legislatures for promoting alcoholism among the poor.

Sorry about the repetition.

I've been having a problem with my browser this morning.

Did a restart and seems to have cleared it.

Yeah, was in San Diego back when I drank MD 20-20, once. As I recall they made retailing it illegal downtown.

Dju go to SDSU? I am alumnus there.
I went to SDSU for a couple of semesters in 83-84 before I joined the Army.
I did most of my preparatory classes at San Diego City College, then moved up and tried getting into the journalism department at SDSU. They lost their accreditation while I was there.
In total I have over 100 college credits at San Diego City, Southwestern College, and San Diego State University.
I was so broke that I needed to make a change. So I re-entered the military.

Back in the day, T-Bird and Mad Dog were very big with the bruthas back in DC. Never touched the stuff. however I did start my drinking career on Boone's Farm wine. :)

T-Bird & Port used to sell like hotcakes out in AZ. Heard they mixed it with lemonade?

Indians lined up Sunday morning fot the opening at 11AM at the liquor store in PHX.
