PHASING OUT PAPER CHECKS: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to modernize how the government handles money, switching from old-fashioned paper-based payments to fast, secure electronic payments.
• The Order mandates that, effective September 30, 2025, the Federal government will cease issuing paper checks for all disbursements, including intragovernmental payments, benefits, vendor payments, and tax refunds.
• All executive departments and agencies must transition to modern, electronic funds transfer (EFT) methods like direct deposit, debit/credit card payments, digital wallets, and real-time transfers.
• Payments made to the Federal government, such as fees, fines, loans, and taxes, must also be processed electronically where permissible under existing law.
• Treasury will phase out physical lockbox services and expedite electronic collection of Federal receipts.
While the Trump Administration is 100% correct, and in perfect harmony with our Founder’s wisdom in using tariffs at our water’s edge to advance the best interests of America’s manufacturing base and having foreign manufactures paying for the privilege of doing business on American soil _ as one does at a flea marker when paying for their booth to sell their goods and wares and thus fill our national treasury _ our Founders would certainly view the Trump Administration’s move toward a cashless society as “. . . the mark of the Beast in Revelations . . . ” when they rejected allowing our government to make bank notes of any kind [which includes today’s Federal Reserve Notes] a “legal tender” in payment of debt SOURCE
Among the very consequences of the Trump Administration’s despotic move toward electronic banking and transactions are, it dissolves physical evidence of financial transactions, conducts trade in the shadow and not the substance, and relinquishes absolute control over every individual and businesses’ financial dealings to the hidden hand of government through government’s alleged innocuous electronic banking scheme.
And what happens when folks in a current Administration are upset with your political views and the political party you have registered with? Will your electronic account be erased or meddle with? How about the manner in which you spend your money? Keep in mind folks in government will have total awareness of every dime you spend. Could you be punished for a particular purchase or it be electronically invalidated at the point of an attempted purchase?
The omnipotent government power connected to moving toward a cashless electronic-based financial transactions system is very real and suggests there is a dangerous and subversive operative in the Trump Administration.
