Note......no link and it doesn't even support what you said. You also have to consider that the banks used things like HARP to "pay back" TARP. In one pocket and out the other.

The link does not back what you said and as I said, it only accounts for Tarp payments. It does not account for Harp payments which were what were used in many cases to pay back Tarp and they were never paid back as they were never intended to.

HARP was used to pay back Tarp, not help homeowners. It was all a huge scam on taxpayers.

It could additionally be argued that some of the funds paid back aren’t truly “paid back” at all, since they were paid back in a manner that’s equivalent to paying off credit card debt with another credit card.
