HArris handled herself just fine in a robust interview where the interviewer was blatantly biased.

Thing is, MAGA don't see it... HArris was the winner for going on...

She wasn't a winner for going on. I will award her props for doing it....but that's still not winning.

I am NOT devoted to Trump. I've watched him closely since the late 80's because I lived in NY. My opinion of him then vx now has not changed in the slightest. Never considered him the second coming of Christ or the Devil incarnate. Just a wealthy man who was undaunted by failure. Someone who sometimes had to learn lessons the hard way....like we all do.

Winning is what Trump has accomplished. He has had tough interviews except on Oprah....where she used to like him decades ago until he became a political figure. And where Trump was not political he favored the Democrats decades ago too. His "Republican" status only emerged when the Democrats shunned him. The Republicans did too but he had an honest "in" with them and even though opposed by party leadership he got in anyway. Along the same lines as Elon Musk has had.

This is politics. I never have liked them. Trump's first term was something of a surprise to me. I thought that they would need to count the silverware as he left office. But that distinction belongs to the Clinton's and Obama's. (What they were thinking is beyond me)

She blew the interview. She could have raised her intelectual honesty and come clean about how we really need the people....but she didn't want to say the truth. And now it doesn't matter anyway. She committed political suicide by vascilating and sidestepping the difficult questions.

There are honest answers she could have said that are not bad or that difficult to understand that are positives. She flatly refused to give them...and killed her campaign at the same time.

She made her points, representing herself and stood her ground representing the administration, as she is the Vice President, though refusing to throw Joe under the bus, cost her. It did show character and strength and knowledge gained from a public blunder early on, that made her supposedly in charge of the border, but with no authority to affect change.

At the same time, Brett did fine representing FOX NEWS political position and the Trump campaign.

I think that media needs to stay out of it as far as interviews are concerned. Most of them have an agenda.

I would much prefer a foreign news agency with no dog in the fight and a well educated and well mannered moderator not out to hit anyone with gotchya questions.
