Telling people to protest peacefully after offering the National Guard to bolster security equals "leading the mob to destroy the government and constitution..."?Trump sat glued to the TV watching the attack on the capital refusing to act as family and advisors begged him to intervene. His response was to tweet, false claims about the election and praising the mob as being special.
Trump swore in his oath of office that, "I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Watching the attack on the Capital, refusing to intervene, and praising the attackers is a clear violation of his oath of office. To think that in his last term in office, he would not be leading the mob to destroy the government and constitution for which it stands seems highly unlikely. Donald Trump has proven that he has no respect for American Democracy and will do his dampest to destroy it under the guise of Making America Great Again.
I'm sorry, Flopper but nobody's buying that. If Trump actually did what you claim he did then why wasn't he charged with that "crime" in any of the lawfare suits brought against him? The answer to that is they knew that charge would never stand up in court.
