One of the most popular saints. Lived a life of great humility and devotion to Jesus Christ.

One thing I like about her is that she's one of the more modern saints, of whom we have photographs.

St. Therese of Lisieux was a Carmelite nun whose service to her Roman Catholic order, although outwardly unremarkable, was later recognized for its exemplary spiritual accomplishments. She was named a doctor of the church by Pope John Paul II in 1997, the youngest person to be so designated.

She was a lovely young woman as well.

She's also known for being incorruptible, which means her body hasn't decomposed since her death.
