He would be 122 today, being born October 22,1903.

In the days before Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street, the Stooges were kings of children's TV. My entire mindset was largely based upon their teachings.

That explains much.

My mother refused to let us watch the Stooges. She thought we'd poke each other's eyes out.

So we'd go over to our friends' houses and watch them there.

Curly was the best of the various Stooges, IMO.

I think it might be a sign of reaching adulthood when you can look at those old shows and recognize that they are not funny. Not funny at all.

I think it depends what one thinks is funny.

Slapstick is funny, and they were masters of slapstick.
