Hamas is preventing Palestinian civilians from fleeing north Gaza

Nope. Not making, "excuses," for any one. You should probably stop constructing straw-men for a planned genocide.

If Hamas killed babies and children, and civilians, they are evil and need to be condemned.

This does NOT however, give a license to the IDF to do the same. It only gives them a license to attack and kill those who did it.

War crimes are war crimes, no matter who commit them.
The arabs have been attacking since 1948. Never stops.

Fake news my butt bro.

The first gulf war was done because saddam invaded Kuwait

much of what we were told about the situation leading to the Gulf War was lies.

All of what we were told about it were lies, including THAT! ^^^

Kuwait was using directional drilling, which may have? Been a new tech at the time? Into Iraq's Oil reserves. . .

82onwl.jpg

". . .But what thrill is there in doing that? Slant drilling is (pun intended) boring boring. The popular approach of offshore drilling rigs is much more exciting!

As a sort of reminder, the first Gulf War in the Middle East was caused by Kuwait slant drilling under Iraq, prompting Saddam Hussein”s “brazen” invasion of Kuwait for stealing his oil. But you probably never heard about that. It was the best kept secret of the entire Gulf War. Otherwise, Americans would have found out that we had chosen the wrong side to fight against, and should have sided with Saddam against those criminal Kuwaitis!"

The First Iraq War Was Also Sold to the Public Based on a Pack of Lies

". . . But it can be argued that Iraq had significantly more justification for its attack.

Kuwait had been a close ally of Iraq, and a top financier of the Iraqi invasion of Iran in 1980, which, as The New York Times reported, occurred after “Iran’s revolutionary government tried to assassinate Iraqi officials, conducted repeated border raids and tried to topple Mr. Hussein by fomenting unrest within Iraq.”

Saddam Hussein felt that Kuwait should forgive part of his regime’s war debt because he had halted the “expansionist plans of Iranian interests” not only on behalf of his own country, but in defense of the other Gulf Arab states as well.

After an oil glut knocked out about two-thirds of the value of a barrel of crude oil between 1980 and 1986, Iraq appealed to OPEC to limit crude oil production in order to raise prices — with oil as low as $10 per barrel, the government was struggling to pay its debts. But Kuwait not only resisted those efforts — and asked OPEC to increase its quotas by 50 percent instead — for much of the 1980s it also had maintained its own production well above OPEC’s mandatory quota. According to a study by energy economist Mamdouh Salameh, “between 1985 and 1989, Iraq lost US$14 billion a year due to Kuwait’s oil price strategy,” and “Kuwait’s refusal to decrease its oil production was viewed by Iraq as an act of aggression against it.”

There were additional disputes between the two countries centering on Kuwait’s exploitation of the Rumaila oil fields, which straddled the border between the two countries. Kuwait was accused of using a technique known as “slant-drilling” to siphon off oil from the Iraqi side.

None of this justifies Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait. But a longstanding and complex dispute between two undemocratic petrostates wasn’t likely to inspire Americans to accept the loss of their sons and daughters in a distant fight. . . . "

The first Bush administration, and the US knew all about it. They had a history with the Saddam regime. Some believe the ambassador sent conflicting and ambivalent messages. . . who can say?

TRANSCRIPT SHOWS MUTED U.S. RESPONSE TO THREAT BY SADDAM IN LATE JULY

Ex-Envoy Details Hussein Meeting

WikiLeaks, April Glaspie, and Saddam Hussein

I’m generally not inclined to take issue with my FP colleagues, but David Kenner’s recent posting on the WikiLeaks release of a cable recounting Saddam Hussein’s infamous meeting with U.S. ambassador April Glaspie deserves a response. In an article headlined “Why One U.S. Diplomat Didn’t Cause the Gulf War,” Kenner argues that the new release ...

Yeah. That generally happens when you colonize and genocide a population.

The Indian wars in America lasted from 1609 – 1890. And Americans had pretty much the same attitude toward them, that the Israelis have toward the Palestinians, that is how this works. :113:

Yoar poll on that other thread? Interesting. It certainly proves reliable about human nature. Very tribal and ignorant, aren't we?

If you don't watch the full video, I hope you'll watch from 5:00 on.

From one commenter, I fully agree with

Disbelieving the victims, survivors, witnesses, reporters and even images of Hamas' atrocities is horrifically reminiscent of Holocaust denial, both as it was occurring and still to this day. Absolutely reprehensible.

It looks like you added to your post after I replied to it, so I wanted to reply to the last part.

First, it appears that you were looking at "Top Comments" (which is the default setting) as opposed to "Newest First", so most of the top comments were from a couple days ago... likely before most people knew that the original statement was backtracked.

Secondly, the specific topic of that video that people were talking about was the 40 beheaded babies story, not Hamas' atrocities overall. So that person's comment that you posted is misleading. She/he made it sound like the 40 beheaded babies story had "survivors, witnesses, images" etc, but she was talking about the atrocities overall, not this specific alleged event.

Yep. I knew there was much more, but I just posted the two things that came to mind off the top of my head. Thanks for always posting info, links, etc.

And btw... Apparently some people think war is a laughing matter. Remember how Dubya (a globalist, not a true conservative or patriot) joked about the weapons of mass destruction thing? How many hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed? Sadly, some here on this thread also seem gung ho and giddy about war in general.

Have you ever been to Israel? I have several times. Where does "out of Gaza" mean to you?
Yes, I have. And I have family and friends there. many of whom have fought in Gaza. many of whom are now in uniform. I said out of Gaza City, not out of the strip. Hamas won't let them out of the city.

Haha all I hear in your post is defense of Saddam…claiming his invasion was “justified” because he claimed Kuwait was directional drilling

It’s amazing the lengths you all go to defend terrorist and tyrantical regimes

🤔

Oh wait, they did. . .

It's more complicated.

Israel has bombed the crossing several times, killing some refugees and destroying the roads. Plus they told Egypt not to come anywhere near the border crossing with the army, which could help the refugees.

There are Islamic State terrorists in the Sinai.

FROM CONFIRMATION ON THE SAVAGE ARAB "PALESTINIAN" BEHEADING OF JEWISH BABIES

Infants and children under 2 years old were beheaded by Hamas in the Kibbutz of Kfar Aza. It is a horror, a massacre.

For those asking for the source. They are multiple: Israeli army, internal intelligence service and atrocious images which reached me and which I was able to cross-check. Shani Louk's relatives in most reports just say a piece of her skull was found.

Yes, some reporters were shown photos of victims, but copies were not given for independent confirmation. For what it's worth, Israel has probably used Spike rockets with with fragmentation bombs on a refugee camp lately, and a lot of the victims had ripped limbs or were beheaded.

Although I suppose that other bombs can also occasionally cause beheadings.

The story changing several times, conflicting info and lack of independent confirmation won't matter to a few diehards here, who have an extremely naïve romanticized "white hat vs black hat" mentality about the whole thing.
