Hezbollah and Hamas continued to exchange fire with Israel, while fighting escalated in Gaza. Israeli forces dismantled Hamas' military framework in northern Gaza and killed around 8,000 militants. The Israeli military has seized weapons and documents. Rocket attacks from Lebanon towards northern Israel were identified, prompting a response from Israel. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for hitting an Israeli observation post, while Jama'a Islamiya Islamist group fired rockets at Kiryat Shmona. Israeli fighter jets and troops targeted Hezbollah.
