Two questions;Why is it only 10 years vs. a permanent cease fire?
What would the " Intrrnational Community" lol say if Hamas broke the " peace agreement" and Israel responded? Would there be any condemnation of Hamas? Of course not

Israel won't go there. They go in seeking minimal civilian casualties.

All they can do is short term . They know they will be back in three years or so. Hamas this time has made themselves pariahs. This means the israelis can do what thy want for three weeks or so. But both sides will be back.

Given Israel's initiative in a wide-ranging sphere, I don't see why it would have been a request or demand from the United States, that triggered Israeli acceptance of the Egyptian truce.

The Israeli government, and its People, are intelligent enough to figure that out for themselves, and courageous enough to act upon it, without prompting from the US.

It's an aspect of this new War that's escaped my attention, for sure. If anyone has any credible information on what triggered the Israeli acceptance, this would be a good time to bring that to the forefront, but, ultimately, it's not that big a deal, either way.

Because Hamas came-off looking like the Bad Guy - again (tee-hee).

I.P. Freely, your link proved that you really don't know. It clearly showed that Israel designed the Iron Dome. The U.S. is only giving them some money to keep it going.
