But if you're being arrested, you have the right to know who is arresting you. If you're being questioned, you have the right to know who is questioning you. This isn't anything new.

For example, when an arrested person is brought into any of our campuses (nationwide mind you), if the officer isn't willing to give her or his name, we don't do the blood draw to see if the person is intoxicated.

Again, these are not traffic stops, they are raids.

Furthermore, soldiers in combat zones have their names on their uniforms.

This is true, but then you don't have to worry about someone trying to dox your identity to the public, you don't have to worry about someone 4000 miles away trying to expose your identity and put your family at risk.

If they were breaking the law, id be more apt to agree. They would be arrested, and put on trial and we would all know. However, if there was a risk to their families, their names would be withheld.

Notice how this wasn't happening with ICE was deporting actual criminals, gang bangers and those who shouldn't be in the USA. This only started when ICE started going after school children, hard working legal immigrants, and really, anyone who isn't already a citizen. Many of these people who have been in the country for more than 20 years, or who arrived when they were children.
