The govt entity handling the trust for the Ballroom donations, can't take donations for projects unless there is a public purpose for the project, under the laws written....

The argument I believe, on whether a donation from a so called benefactor or oligarch for short is permitted or not under the law, is whether the Ballroom at the Whitehouse has a purpose for public use...like building a library or new pressroom or remodeling public areas, adding a rose garden where many public events take place....

The Ballroom is not for public purpose or use.... It is not used by the public for normal use or any use. It is meant for the President's use....so donations collected by the trust trump said took the donations, may not be legal to do that way.....

Or something of the sort from the reporting I heard....

And on the military salary donation for pay, that is illegal, no question on that....
