It might just work... Though I'm not sure in what order they intend to run.

Not that either of them no shit about shit ..
But The American voting populace does not care about that.....

Americans vote with their wallets and they will this time too. Unless a miracle happens and the cost of living decreases drastically within the next 12 to 15 months you can pretty much guarantee a Democratic sweep of both houses and the White House.

However once that happens it will then be up to the Democrats to do what the Republicans weren't able to do improve the cost of living.

There is a possibility that no one can do that..
There is a very strong possibility that it has nothing to do with Washington DC because in reality the country is not run from Washington DC.

In any case this shapes up to be a real popcorn premier!....

Harris who managed to blow two billion dollars into Oblivion and is still facing criticism from her own party for disappearing hundreds of millions of dollars without any accountability....And Newsome, a guy who spends more money on his hair than most people do on their cars.

He has exactly zero understanding of money and business but he has one thing going for him... Beautiful dentistry and perfect hair!

Yup, CA and WA are both facing YUGE deficits this year. CA--$18B, WA--$4.3B. Democrats don't know how to govern. If they can't give away someone else's money they are lost. LOL, Harris demonstrated that BIGLY in her 107 days.

The bottom line is democrats had a totaled up inflation rate of 20% under Biden. No matter what, that is cooked into the books and prices aren't going to go lower. The only way for overall prices to actually go lower would be to have deflation and that's not good. Since Trump's inflation rounds up to 3%, that means overall prices are 23% higher now than they were four years ago. If Trump gets blamed for that and democrats come back, they can't go backwards either, without having economic chaos. And, increasing workers' wages just kicks inflation up even higher. Democrats dealt us a bad set of cards that can't be put back into the deck.

A Harris/Newsom ticket would lose in an even bigger landslide than Harris/Walz did. At this point, why the **** not? Might as well hand the Republicans every branch of the government for the foreseeable future, since the Democrats have proven they are incapable of not being leftwing deranged Zionist Islamophile pro-Criminal America Haters.

For people who practiced economic responsibility by eliminating their debt, even while living on a fixed income, deflation can be a great thing. It increases their purchasing power. At some point, Americans need to come to grips with debt. They cannot borrow their way to prosperity. The debt has to be repaid, regardless of what Biden democrats would have you believe.

It's a full fledged ponzi scheme. Most everyone believes nothing can go wrong unless you're the one who gets stuck on the bottom when the floor falls through. So, all you have to do is make sure you're not the one on the bottom and everything will just all be hunky dory.

I am more concerned about 2026. Gerrymandering aside, enough dimwits may decide that they can safely "stick it to Trump" without suffering any consequences. Besides, another impeachment is great TV entertainment.

There is a story on Fox this morning about "Tough Love w/McDonalds CEO." The gist of the article is that no one cares about your career more than you do and you have to make the right choices. If someone helps you out--that's great, but it is the exception, not the rule. People need to realize that they are responsible for themselves first. After you have your place secured, then you can be a philanthropist. Too many people EXPECT to be helped and not enough are focused on helping themselves. Life isn't a walk in the park for most, it takes ambition and perseverence.

When I was young my parents were poor. I was poor. I had to wear hand me down clothes from my younger brother who was bigger than me. I was a diehard democrat. I remember those big bad mean war mongering Republicans always favored the rich over the poor. Why in the hell would anyone vote for them?

Then, one day, lighting must have struck me. I don't really know what happened but something slapped me across the face like a ton of bricks. My eyes opened up and I realized that democrat policies were never going to improve my life and that they were always going to keep me poor. I knew if I was going to improve my life I couldn't depend on democrats doing it for me. I was going to have to do it for myself.

I was actually working a job for a somewhat decent wage back in those days but it was a dead end job, never going anywhere. So, I made a life changing decision. I quit that somewhat decent paying dead end job and took a job working as a cook at Pizza Hut, making far less per hour but I was because I truly believed in myself and that I could work my way into management. I came in extra hours on my own free time not making a nickel for it in order to learn management stuff. Employees there and friends told me I was crazy to go in and work for free and told me it was stupid.

After a while I was promoted to assistant manager and then to manager and relocated far away to move up the company ladder. From there I quit a few different jobs and got higher paying jobs with better benefits and better working conditions. If I had to suck up I sucked up. Some of those times I took more promotions requiring relocations to different cities across the country. Every time I improved my life. All of that eventually led up to me owning my own business, which I have done for over 20 years now.

Over my years of management and being a business owner, I can't tell you how many regular employees under me never took one iniative or did anything to improve their lives when they easily could have many times over, even just relocating to another store for a promotion and more money in the same town was more than they wanted to do.

I've also had many employees over the years ask for more hours to pay down some bills and I gave them the hours. But, when their bills were paid, they requested going back to lesser hours again because getting ahead or having a few hundred dollars in the bank was just too much of a foreign concept for them to understand. They just didn't want to do anything to actually get ahead.

One girl who worked for me came into a small inheritiance of about $7,000 (it was like a million dollars to her) and she pissed the money away as quickly as possible because she was afraid that it would stop the government benefits she was receiving, which were more important to her.

I once read an article that made a lasting impression on me. It was something along the lines of How to survive a depression and profit by it. The bottom line was liquidity. The trick was how to reach that goal. I was raised in similar circumstances to the Thinker and learned early on that I was the only source of help I could depend on. Debt WAS NOT my friend. I used it sparingly and paid it off as quickly as possible. If I had one single piece of advice that I would offer to anyone for success--that would be it.

The thread's title is baiting and inflammatory and does not belong in Politics
