NO Most likely they are NOW including 12.5% of the earth's land mass i.e.... Siberia!

One of major criticism has been the exclusion over 50 years of data from 12.5% of the world's land mass.

Those readings were for Siberia and when added to the other readings would have
diminished the premise that the earth's temperature was rising.
