We let in too many foreigners.
And our culture is very different.
And Red China, despite the fact I know you adore it, is a Communist dictatorship where you can be killed for doing just about anything, you ******* dolt.
China has a horrible record on human rights... but they probably don't have more than 1000 executions a year.
Yes, our culture is very different.
We tolerate grinding poverty.
We let any idiot who wants a gun have a gun.
We let the mentally ill wander the streets (and judging by USMB, the internet)
We treat addiction as a criminal issue instead of a medical one like most of the Europeans do.
And of course, we tolerate racism like it's normal.
Now, some of those things, other countries don't have to deal with. Racism isn't a problem in most of Europe because they don't have that many non-whites. Drug abuse isn't a problem in China because they execute drug dealers.
But here's the biggest difference. We've made prisons profitable. So of course, we find excuses to throw people in prison so that someone can make a profit off their labor. And this isn't new, really. From 1865 to 1942, you had something called "Debt Peonage", which was slavery by another name.
