It was an accident. Your never supposed to point an unloaded or loaded gun at someone. You can bet this type of accident at a gun range by people who are well trained with guns is very rare. No, it doesn't. Those country's have never had a violent class of people to begin with. The murder rate didn't drop at all when guns were banned in those countries. However, now that they are importing violent third worlders they are seeing their gun crime rates skyrocket. In a few years they will equal the US in gun crime. Once again, it ain't the tool...it's the person using it.
