Why are Republicans so paranoid about guns? America has more guns in circulation than they have people. A few less guns in the hands of criminals and children seems like common sense to me.

Fewer guns in the hands of children and criminals sounds reasonable enough, but this is only what lefties claim as they focus their efforts on limiting gun ownership of legal responsible adults who are not criminals.

Did you know that anyone convicted of illegally possessing a gun has committed a federal crime and can be put in a federal prison for 5 years?

Did you know that when the city of Richmond VA in cooperation with the US Attorney's office tried all cases of illegal gun possession as federal crimes and sent the convicted felons to federal prison that the crime rate dropped precipitously?

So more laws do not necessarily reduce crime but you know what always reduces crime?

The McCloskeys, law-abiding Conservative home-owners, live in a private gated community.

One night foreign-funded Democrat-supported domestic terrorists broke into / trespassed into their gated community, trespassed onto their property, threatened their lives, and threatened to burn down their home ... as they had alredy done to local businesses.

Before the police arrived, the McCloskeys stepped out onto their own property holding their legally-owned firearms and told the domestic terrorists to get oiut of their yard and vowed to defend their lives and property.

In the aftermath, the domestic terrorists were arrested for trespassing...and then released. The govt / authorities showed up at the McCloskey's residence with a warrant - treating them as if THEY were the criminals / threats - searched their home, seized ALL of their legally-owned weapons, charged them with a crime, and refused to give their weapons back.

The McCloskeys were charged with unlawful use of a weapon (PROTECTING THEIR PROPERTY FROM LAW-BREAKING DOMESTIC TERRORISTS ON THEIR PROPERTY THREATENING TO HURT THEM AND BURN DOWN THEIR HOME), which is a class E felony, and can carry a sentence of up to four years in prison and a fine of $10,000. They also had their legally-owned weapons confiscated.

This began in June 2020 and is still on-going.
