The moral of the story here is be cognizant when leaving the range. Watch to see if you are followed. Do not show off your weapons on Facebook and be especially careful to turn off geo tag on your phone if taking pictures using your weapon. Also have a large dog in conjunction with a fire arm for home protection. Fire arms are one of a thief favorite thing to steal. You do not want a weapon you are registered as owning ending up with a body on it.
