Guess who is climbing up the leaderboard again! That's what 200 posts a day will do!

My guess is there are two kinds of posters this would refer to, the professional and someone with no life.

I can think of one professional who puts in a lot of effort with every post, and they are voluminous. Anyone who goes to such great lengths and posts so prolifically is likely on someone's payroll, considering the extreme bias that is inherent in every single post. They work to influence public opinion.

That is what puts them in the professional category, and should exclude rightwinger for all you conspiracy theorists out there (most of whom, predictably, get it backwards when to comes to professional posters/propagandists.)

Why would a person feverishly post 100, 150 or 200 posts in a day? Kind of makes you wonder!

there's a meme for that...

Moonglow must average that.

What I don't understand is that I probably spend a few hours a day here. I've had lefties complain I have no life. I average about 350-450 likes. I think my record is like 700 likes. So how does anyone consistently get 1500-2000 likes (without gaming the system)?

Here is another observation that begs explanation! I am nothing if not freakish on numbers and stats. I have noticed the following as a routine pattern. Used to be that the top poster here for YEARS averaged about 700-800 likes (often Miketx). Now here is the new pattern these past couple of years:

GROUP ONE: (red)--- This is the top reaction area for most top posters. Almost exclusively conservative people for average 300-500 likes who are popular because they post mostly intelligent, likable posts.

GROUP TWO: (green)--- Almost exclusively our two top game players (bluzman61 and SaxonJackson). They bang out a million one word game posts a week getting lots of likes and are exclusively conservative.

GROUP THREE: (blue)--- A new category that appeared a couple years ago of exclusively far leftist-progressive members, very unpopular, who consistently get 1500-2000 reactions anyway. These are impossible numbers unless a person is either on this board 24/7 and are getting deluged by negative ratings because they certainly get few positive reactions.

Question is, how is this possible unless the system is being gamed? I mean, look at the idiots getting 1500-2000 reaction scores! I have never once seen any of the people in the blue category make a single post worth reading.

The only list that would actually represent something meaningful would be the number of likes as a fraction of their total posts.

My question is why are likes hidden? I can look up the total reaction score of a person, what I want to see is the /distribution/. There are 11 different reaction choices from "brilliant" to "you're a dumbass". I want to see how many of these 2000 likes a person gets are positive scores and how many are negative scores.

And why are + and - reaction scores both treated the same?

Because, long ago in a section of the internet there were raiders who made it a habit of punching negative reactions as a way to play.

There should be a listing for who is on the most ignore lists.

More to the point: if a lot of people have you on IGNORE because they are fed up with your crap, they can't see your posts to report you. Over time, the worse a member is, the more they get ignored, the less they get reported, encouraging them to get worse.

On the other hand, many of us won't notice such shenanigans as we ignore them.
