Grocery stores in black neighborhoods just can't do business there.

So many businesses, including grocery stores, are closing do stealing and things that come from "ghetto fatigue."
And the blacks in these neighborhoods won't even admit it.

This just one instance.

Major chain grocery stores have historically been reluctant to open or remain in Black neighborhoods, leading to a phenomenon sometimes referred to as "supermarket redlining".

  • Concerns about theft and risk: High levels of shoplifting and theft in some poor neighborhoods (which may be majority-Black) are cited as a reason for some businesses to avoid these areas, according to Quora. Increased armed robbery may also pose a risk to employees.

Well that's racist to presume it's all in black neighborhoods.

Here in WA it's been a struggle for most retailers in all areas.........ever gone into a grocery store or Home Depot with an armed guard at the door? And not in the ghetto or just Seattle. Many a business has been forced to close due to the losses from theft.

I will say it has improved, but still exists

I can't speak to the video, but as for the issue of high rates black crime in urban centers, it's culture. More specifically, micro-culture. White America had a pretty significant hand in creating black American culture and many of the socioeconomic problems black people face. That doesn't excuse the crimes when they occur, nor does it mitigate the consequences, but it would be cool if more of us would look in the mirror when we lecture other communities about their problems that we probably know little or nothing about other than what we see in the media.

Yes, because black people are happy, prosperous and peaceful in the rest of the world.

Colonialism is a thing. When the richest countries exploit the poorer ones for their resources, violence and unrest are never that far behind. That's why the Middle East, Africa, and Lat-Am countries tend to be "unstable," as though they're left to their own devices.

It's chronic and systemic illegitimacy caused by the Left's welfare state.

Yeah because tribal cultures are known for their peacefulness and humanity. :laughing0301:

So who colonized black America? Your response seems absolutely knee jerked and a default argument. Africa was a shithole before, during and after colonization and is to this very day. So much so that everyone tries to reach their former colonizers if they get any of opportunity.

Right. It had nothing to do with slavery, red-lining, employment discrimination, and denying black people loans so that they couldn't get a home and build inheritable wealth.

When is the last time a tribal culture committed a genocide? That's literally what two of the most advanced nations on earth are doing literally right now.

Sure, Tutsis and Hutus did it, I suppose, but no worse than what 'civilized' cultures do.

Not sure why you're asking that question because I never made such a claim. Black Americans were imported from Africa and the Caribbean (where slavery began earlier). Because of the Constitution's ban on slave importation after 1808, most slaves were actually bred in the U.S. like animals.

I'm not pretending like Africa doesn't have problems and that some of those problems aren't self-inflicted, but like most places on this earth, Africa would probably be a lot more peaceful if the wealthier nations (particularly the "West") weren't so interested in exploiting the Continent's people and their resources.

The good news for Africa - and the bad news for us - is that there's going to be another power broker to deal with in the years ahead: BRICS.

And it's going to absolutely rock our world.

Affordable food???? Sure don't recall seeing these politicians addressing concerns back in the Biden days when eggs were $10 - $12 per dozen.

The Rwandan genocide. Next question.
