The nominee of the Green Party is offering to step aside so that Bernie Sanders could continue his bid to be president. If this happens - the impact has the potential to be catastrophic for Hillary Clinton (much like Ross Perot was for George H. W. Bush).

Yes, Perot did rack up a significant share of the vote in 1992 – 19%, the best for an independent since Teddy Roosevelt in 1912.

If Bush took just 2/3's of those votes - he wins. He most likely takes 100% of those votes because Democrats sure as hell weren't casting votes for Perot.
