Not surprising. The One's "Jobs Czar" is GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt. So far he has only been creating Jobs in China. What a sad Nightmare.

This country doesn't want to build anything anymore thanks to Conservatives.

So people are going where they can build stuff.

yep... as long as we embrace the idea of "big money" is allowed to do whatever they want to, we will see more and more of this.

Labor is an afterthought anymore....too bad that labor outnumbers "job creators" by the thousandfold. Eventually it will all crumble in on itself when there is no one in this country that can afford the products and services that these "job creators" sell, unless...they find new people with some disposable income to buy their stuff.... like Chinese who live under Communist rule and have their necessities provided by the state? Congratulations... our role as consumers may just may also be outsourced... China wins, we lose, and the greedy bastards at the very top still make their money... how about that for Patriotism.

Yep it is a problem. And to make it worse I would bet the IP around the technology was also generated in the US with US tax dollars.

But let's be honest the Republican's plans to reduce capital gains taxes will have the same issues but just a bit harder to track.

We need new approaches that aren't protectionism but insure US dollars spent result in US jobs and that US IP results in US jobs. Without out the multinational companies will continue to take our dollars and shift them off shore.

I think Clinton passed Nafta and unions made the wages so high to be profitable

What unions? the entire workforce is only about 7% unionized, and most of them are Public Sector Unions like AFSCME, the NEA and SEIU. Stop believing the lies they tell you.

As far as Nafta goes...For OOIDA, NAFTA

And China, India and other Asian Sweat shop Countries have nothing to do with the NORTH AMERICAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT(NAFTA).

We bailed GM out & paid them to develop the Volt electric car. Now GM is now designing & building their electric cars in China instead of the USA.

I don't believe there is a GM plant there...yet. GM is now selling the Volt in China...which is actually a big deal. If they build a plant, it is because they are selling to the Chinese.

The Volt is still built in Detroit

Wow, GM looks like it's got government fingerprints all over it. Selling 100-200 Volts a month it looks like they're rolling out the Amtrak business model by ramping up production and hiring more union stooges to build inventory of a car nobody wants. Next, look for them to intro a Cadillac version of the Volt that doesn't sell at $60,000, just like the $40,000 version.
