Great Movie Scenes

This scene must have been particularly chilling to the folks who saw it originally in the movie theatres

“And those wonderful people out there in the dark…”

The film “Pass It On” (1988)takes place in the early post-war years. Twelve-year-old orphan Kostya travels from the Urals to Odessa to visit his aunt—he has been told that his biological aunt has been found.
However, there has been a mistake. Klavdiya was only his mother's friend, but she is not related to Kostya. And despite the fact that both she and her husband Vladimir try to persuade Kostya to stay, he decides to return to the orphanage.
A scene from the film, where a boy interacts with disabled war veterans in a pub, despite its brevity, deeply touched my soul.
