My three favorite drummers were John Bonham, Keith Moon, and Neil Peart of Rush. Honorable mention to Bill Bruford (of King Crimson and Yes) and Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones. Also I believe Ringo Starr was underrated. He always kept a good steady beat, nothing flashy but highly competent.
