This thread is about the great characters....not necessarily the movies they were in but just the character that the actor created, or played exceptionally well.

First up...Heath Ledger...The Joker....Dark Knight.
No question, the Joker in dark Knight was the film. In his last role, ledger created a character that is one of the best of all time.

He will always be remembered for this. He brought a killer who ate people to almost be 'likable'. There is a reason he won an Oscar for his role.

I finally saw Gone With the Wind a few years back.

Clark Gable as Rhett Butler was fantastic, and ahead of it's time. I seriously doubt the movie would've been nearly as good with anyone else from that time period.
