I usually do not like comedy movies done in the "whacky" style of say Mel brooks. Just not my thing.
And this one is certainly done in that style. And has enough star studded cameos to fill a barrel.
But this one I like. Quite a bit. It is whacky, but not "crazy whacky". A bazillion one liners and funny scenes in the background that have nothing to do with the movie. It is outrageous and funny. The dialogue can be quick, so pay attention or you will miss the 1000 one liners this film has.

Quirky movie and some of the humor I didn’t get but worth the watch.
Not a comedy I would want to watch again and again

I remember hearing about this and the rave reviews when it first came out, and had forgotten all about it until now. If it's on Netflix I might watch it.

I agree. Bonzi had not seen it, I saw it when it came out.
It was still enjoyable the 2nd time, but I doubt I will be interested in seeing it again.

It's worth watching, as most Wes Anderson movies are.

I liked it too, but not that much.

Worth watching. It did well at box office both internationally and in us.
