My brother-in-law and I, an Americanized Bangladeshi Muslim (who loves whiskey and bacon) were discussing this exact topic the other day. The American left cannot prosecute (in the media) Muslims for attending mosque in the same manner as Christians for going to church simply because doing so would destroy their ideological meta-narrative of minority victimhood. So mum's the word, it seems. Same old hypocrisy of political correctness and postmodernist cultural madness.

Again, I referenced several links - and there are many more - to Christian churches and services being harassed, threatened to be fined, and fined. I then asked a simple question - does anyone have a link to the same treatment / rules being imposed on Muslims. Do you have one or not?

People are allowed to make their own decisions concerning religion. The Constitution says it is staying out of it. Why should Governors fuck with it. If these people want to take the very overblown risk, let them.
Certainly not- we all know Trump won't take any responsibility for anything having to do with this pandemic.

I have no problem talking about mosques.
Let me be absolutely clear- I expect all houses of worship- Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist- to follow the same rules. I don't think that there are special exemptions for Christians or Jews or Muslims.
But this is just another in the line of many such bigoted threads by the OP- he doesn't ask about synogogues being fined, or Buddhist temples- only his own particular boodgeyman- the Mooooooslems.
He didn't provide any examples of Muslims violating the rules - he just of course wanted to cry victimhood and again promote hate toward Muslim Americans.

How pathetic are you when you have to come onto a message board and SOLICIT something to be butthurt about.
While we're all (cough) waiting for that to happen, why don't you essplain to the class how anybody's "religious rights are trampled".
Well easy was able to accomplish three things he considers essential in this thread:
a) Promote Christian victimhood- even when Christians are specifically being asked to follow the exact same rules as everyone else.
b) Attack Muslims
c) Whine about liberals.
As usual with his threads- he literally has nothing to base it upon except examples of Christians breaking the rules. He literally is asking why those who are not breaking the rules haven't been targetted.

Can't remember when I've seen a thread about butthurt that has to solicit its own link so it can proceed. I'm really not sure whether this is more or less legitimate than just making something up, being called out for not having a link and then running away. Either way ya can't make this place up.

Are mosques doing the same things that the churches who "are being targeted" are doing? What about synagogues? I haven't read about any of those being "targeted," either.
I did not say that they were acting stupidly and the town rightfully rescinded the order. But plenty of others churches have not practiced social distancing or threatened not to
only because they were getting pushback from across the country
but the urge to punish Christians did not go away
