Governor Chris Christie to Navy SEAL veteran: "STFU idiot".

This rude, fat-fuck is the reason the tea-bagger Republican days are numbered. President Obama is a shoe-in come Nov. 2012.

Governor Chris Christie to

New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie is well known for his extroverted personality and outspoken nature. But his often confrontational approach that kept his name in presidential primary talks for months ended in a shouting match today with a student who is a also a former Navy Seal.

Fox News reports that during Friday morning's town hall press conference, Christie called on 34-year-old law student William Brown. The two got into a debate over a plan to rename Rutgers University, Rutgers Camden-Rowan. Brown, who is active in Democratic Party politics, says the merger and name change would negatively affect the university's reputation.

After Christie says that Brown and his fellow classmates who are already enrolled at the university will still receive a Rutgers diploma, Brown interrupts him, shouting back, "What about my son? What about my neighbors? What about my friends?"

Christie then appears to lose his temper, saying, "If you decide what you want to do is put on a show today, let me tell you, I can go back and forth with you as much as you want. And let me tell you something; after you graduate from law school, you conduct yourself like that in a courtroom, your rear end's going to get thrown in jail, idiot."

Christie then tried to explain his behavior to the receptive audience, saying, "I tried to be patient with the guy. Every time I tried to answer, he's like, yelling over me again." And he received applause for what may turn out to be a regrettable follow-up quip, when he said, "I mean, damn man, I'm governor, could you shut up for a second?"

I am not a Christie fan, but from what I have read, this guy was a bit of a douche. That doesn't entirely excuse Christie for his behavior. He definitely could have handled it much better. If someone like this evokes this type of reaction from him, then I really worry about his ability to handle pressure.

Outside of that, I saw Piers Morgan interviewing Christie a week or two ago. I have never seen someone so evasive in answering one question after another. Christie could not give a direct answer to any question Morgan had for him. But hey, let the right continue to think that Christie is a viable candidate for 2016.

In what universe are vets immune from criticism???

Besides, it's been quite clear that progressives hate our military and service men and woman anyways...

Can you link anything that proves that Gov. Christie knew he was a veteran before they had their confrontation?

LOL! If Christie spoke to me that way it would still be just as rude, boorish and disrespectful. Christie's true batshit, bullying ways are really showing now. His love-fest with the incredibly desperate Republicans ISO a candidate has gone to his fat head.

And he is indeed that fat....We can see his helicopter struggle to become air bound over the skies of Princeton when it takes off from Mercer County airport.

Who cares if someone was/is a SEAL, I've met many of them....it doesn't make them God.

If someone is an asshole, they need to be told they are an asshole SEAL or not.

Then you supported the recent heckling Obama received in calif?

Come on sissie lefties. You run home to momma in a personal confrontation and then you call the Gov. a fat fuk from the safety of your keyboard. Tax exempt media matters must be desperate to come up with this crap. Democrat senator John Kerry once called American Soldiers "terrorists" while they were in a combat zone. Democrat congressman John Murtha once called Marines "murderers" while they were in a combat zone. That democrat nut case who leads the senate majority once tried to influence the morale of the US Military by telling them "the war is lost" while they were engaged in the biggest offensive in Iraq. It wasn't republicans who bought the full page ad in the NY Times calling the commander of combat Troops "betray-us" it was radical democrats.

John Kerry never called our troops terrorists. But I guess if you repeat a lie often enough the simple minded will believe it

I'm not even aware of Obama being heckled. We're talking about CHRISTIE on this thread. Capiche?

Just wanting to make sure you maintain your double standards.

Christie ran a good campaign, beat Jon Corzine soundly (but then everybody in NJ despised Corzine) and has done some really good things for the state: getting spending under control, pissing off a whole lot of school teachers but getting some pension funds working again, too. And then he goes and blows it all with this thug-like attitude and loose temper.

Christie never said STFU either.... but it was implied.

I personally dont like him... I think he is an asshole, but ya cant blame him for standing up for himself.
Just because you are a soldier, you cant go around heckling someone w/o expecting some guff back at ya.

I'm sorry, but nowhere in that clip does Kerry call our troops terrorists. Now can you post the clip where Kerry calls our troops terrorists?

Well, sorry but you didn't. I'm sure you fail at a lot of other things, too.

And besides, Brown was called on to speak, he was not a heckler. Know the difference, dumbass?

"....Just four questions in, Christie called on William Brown, a 34-year-old law school student and veteran from Mt. Laurel, who explained, calmly at first: "I know that all my friends in the military no matter what state they’re from respect that fact that I go to Rutgers. It’s also true that none of my friends in the military no matter what state they’re from have ever heard of Rowan."

What dimension do you live in??

Apparently progressives are professional idiots who turn knee-jerk reactions into an art form..

What are you going to say next? Bill Clinton wasn't white???

It was implied.... what do you think he meant when he said they were going in and terrorizing folks in their homes at night?

You need to get your head out of your ass and start paying attention boy.

I don't like Christie either, but as I just posted, Brown was not a heckler. Christie called him to speak at the meeting. Christie went off like a banshee on "Morning Joe" about a week, too. His loose cannon side is showing. [/FONT]

You know what... I just read that.

That does change it for me.... Christie was wrong in that case.

I withdraw my comments then.

Like I said, I dont like him... he is a bigmouthed asshole.

The double standards from the left here are alarming though.

The guy in the audience was rude so no surprise that Christie threw that back in his face.

While I appreciate Christie's candor and his speaking his mind regardless of what others think, personally I believe his message would have be 'louder' had he waited until the interrupter was done then quietly said 'are you finished?', with an obvious look of annoyance on his face, then responded in a more civil manner. As it is his response makes him look like nothing but a big bully.

Should Christie speak his mind? Absolutely. Should he stoop to lower standards to do it? Nope.
