Government spending: When the government spends more freely, prices go up. Inflation expectations: Companies may increase their prices in expectation of inflation in the near future. More money in the system: An expansion of the money supply with too few goods to buy makes prices increase.

Hmm, ok, why is this its own thread? This seems more like a reply to another thread about inflation.

Did you know the price of vehicles increased DRASTICALLY because of a "chip shortage" spun off "covid panic". The average selling price stands at 48K, imagine that, 48K. You can't buy a new one for MSRP, the dealers get a lot more. Way to go Democrats, but you know, you make the beds then blame others (e.g.,Trump) for it.

For ten years, the rube herd whined about Obama's deficit spending. Yes, ten years. Well into the next administration.

Then for four years, the exact same rubes were dead silent as Trump beat Obama's debt in half the time.

Now they are bitching about government spending again.

How DO they stand the stench of their own hypocrisy?
