Project 2025 just got green-lighted, because democrats are stupid.
Well, this is why Trump is basically putting the heat on the Dems by saying sarcastically if one could "feel" a tweets emotions as such that essentially he will now make decisions that will impact Dem voters employed by the government.
It is clear to me, like most politicians; he doesn't want the shut-down either, though this is where he should take a stand IMO.
Now he will cut 100,000 jobs or more due to any number of reasons "non-essential, duplicate position" etc.
What he is doing is prefacing it to the American population and the Dems directly so that no one can act surprised when it happens, "I told you so but you still wanted to hold the government hostage to outrageous demands".
The truth is that since it always requires the other parties votes, what used to be a bi-partisan
process has become a partisan game of big ticket cash grab that is decimating the U.S debt. Trump should state this as such, Rand Paul masterfully calls out both sides for overspending.
Trump should lead with the same "we need to keep to a core set of priorities that focus on America meritocracy and success, not big giveaways to foreign citizens, NGOs etc"
