Democrats are defending rapist, murders and drug dealers...so some of us are confused about who they want to get out.

Again, life's too short to argue with Hate Radio stupidity.

We have immigration laws for a reason. Don't you think laws should be obeyed?

I think stupid laws deserve to be broken.

I give you, Prohibition.

Prohibition happened - was, in fact, enshrined in the Constitution for a time - because a bunch of moral scolds used fear of immigrants to get Americans to agree to outlawing alcohol.

And then, people realized, they really did want their adult beverages. Imagine that.

So we had a whole industry built on breaking laws that never should have been on the books to begin with. We had guys like Al Capone who got very rich supplying people with alcohol and creating a crime empire. It took about 12 years to realize what a terrible idea this all was, and it was repealed.

So how does this apply to immigration? Here's the thing. Not only do some people WANT immigrants, but the country actually NEEDS immigrants. And before you sputter about how you want 'legal immigrants", you guys have made it so difficult to immigrate here legally that people have just decided to flout the laws that were pretty dumb to start with.

So for years, you've had the workaround. The immigrants come here, usually with fake papers, and they get hired because the people who hire them are only hiring them short term or are just ignoring the obvious fake papers.

1) Within 5 years, to get more Congressional seats in Democrat districts by counting the illegals in the Census.

2) Within 20 years, have an extra 20 million Democrat voters by promising the anchor babies of illegals lots of free stuff.

Works for me.

Pritzker cannot stop the enforcement of federal laws.
Pritzker is just pandering to racist Latino nationalist who refuse to accept that we are a sovereign country with border crossing laws and immigration laws.
The Democrat Party's open border policy is racist anarchy.
The whole purpose of it is to displace Anglo/White voters and increase the Democrat Party's voter base.
It is about their greed for power, it is not about compassion.

It bears repeating, but here's my six-step solution to Immigration

So, let's look at some sensible solutions to control the inevitable.

1) Establish a national biometric ID system based on Social Security so everyone knows who they are hiring. You can't get a job or benefits without said ID.

2) Create a Guest-worker program to fill the legitimate labor needs of companies requiring low-skill jobs Americans don't want to do. Such permits will be limited (two years, only renewable after a 1 Year return to your home country).

3) Go after the white people (and yes, it's almost exclusively white people) who hire undocumented laborers who don't have the above. Not just the sweatshop owner but the clown who hires a truckload of day laborers from the Home Depot parking lot when that DIY project turns out to be harder than Chip and Joanna made it look. The Rich asshole (and I always love going after the rich!) who can't be bothered to raise their own spawn, so they've hired Lupe, who is just like a member of the family they don't pay taxes on.

4) Set up a 1-800 number to report people who are hiring undocumented laborers. A few visits from La-Migra and a few fines should straighten them out.

5) Here's the big one- Adequately staff the asylum system with people who can evaluate cases quickly. It should NOT take 4 years to get an asylum hearing. Like it or not, we have laws that state that anyone is entitled to an asylum hearing if they get here and ask for it. If some of those cases are bogus (and I'm sure many of them are) we need to address that quickly.

6) Stop a foreign policy that creates refugees to start with. Most of the current batch are not coming form Mexico, they are coming from Central America or Venezuela, where our policies have caused untold economic and political misery. We need to stop punishing Venezuela because we don't like the form of government they selected 20 years ago, and we need to help the countries of Central America get control over their rampant crime problems that are driving people out.
