I never thought I'd ever enjoy the cartoon show known as american politics this much. The comedy is beyond fun to watch....and laugh at. Let's hope it continues. And i include both sides that provide the entertainment. Anyone else love the dysfunctionality?

It is all a big show or as was said in Roman times, bread and circuses. In the end, the winners of the game are always the power elite. Nothing changes in politics and government...for thousands of years.

It is funny on the surface but when you dig deeper and realize that these clowns are controlling our economy and security with our tax money, and they are responsible for carving the path for future generations, well then it is quite sad and embarrassing

Ice, the humor is that we are all supposed to tout how great america is. Heck we can't even figure out a healthcare system that works. We are told the swamp is draining....heck its filling...full of billionaires who are interested in being trillionaires. The dems are no better. Its a sham. Its a few uber wealthy trying to sell us on their ideas. Those of us who have figured them out are left laughing saying "are you kidding me"? I lmao at what is going on right now. As I should. The working guy is never going to get ahead in the way it is now and more and more people will figure it out eventually.

You know, it's only been a month, and I've heard several conservatives express buyers remorse at having Trump elected. Even the conservative on Bill Maher's show yesterday, Charlie Sykes said that Trump is starting to have problems.

Trump isn't really a conservative. He is a democrat cross over to republican who is trying to adopt conservative principles because that is the team that is supporting him. There is a reason that he was once a democrat and that is he holds many liberal viewpoints which are starting to trickle out.

What isn't funny is he exploitation of America from the world. China, Mexico, Canada, the majority of NATO nations, globalists funding particular candidates to forward their global agenda at the expense of America and world liberty, so-called objective and impartial media pushing a communist/socialist agenda.
Obama doubled the National debt of the U.S in 8 years! Not funny at all sorry. The entire Western world, global democracy and individual freedoms is at risk and some sob's would happily sell out these principles and their nation to profit personally.
Trump had best listen to the voters. If he has to take on both parties, he should do so and call out everyone who resists the will of the people the voters will respond accordingly and the career of those committing treason will be short lived. Of course, Trump has to have the strength of character and commitment to keep his promises and not be sidetracked by the Old Guard, who have done a poor job of guarding the American Way.
There is far too much at stake to laugh. Not since the unknown outcome of the Second World War and the race for the Atom Bomb have the ideals and principles put forward by the Founding Fathers of the U.S more at risk.

I'm the total opposite. I never thought I could hate American Politics any more than I already did after 2014. The 2016 election cycle exponentially increased my disgust at everything related to it.

You are making a LOT of assumptions there and since I don't share your politico-religious views I don't agree with them. A billionaire isn't evil by default. The "swamp" doesn't refer to people that have been wildly successful due to their abilities. The working guy has gotten ahead and can do so again, getting government off our necks will help a bunch.
The only thing that stands in the way of our success is the leftists and their propaganda.

If Trump and his team state listening to establishment politicians (on either side of the aisle) the Republican Party is DEAD for the next 2-3 GENERATIONS, at the very least.
The people who elected Trump don't want that "establishment" mentality, and are prepared to deal with the consequences of "going rogue". To ignore that message would be akin to slitting the Republican party's throat.
