Those massive bills are only going to a small percentage of people, those that were in a special “wholesale” price program, and they said they would address that issue.

Also, it’s a complete lie to claim they have no regulations. They have the same exact regulations as the rest of the country. They even had to get permission from the Department of Energy to start backup generation, but the DoE told them they still had to follow EPA pollution standards and mandated higher rates of sale from that “dirty” generated electricity.
