There was a 10 ton log splitter marked down to $100. It looks never used but it was open box...so open box the box was gone and so were the handles.

Probably a display unit.

The other cool item was a chainsaw adapter for your circular saw for cutting beams. I've seen them used on YouTube but had no idea HF carried them.

Probably would have passed at $90 anyway, but for IT members it was marked down to $50 through tomorrow.

Might try a mini mill like this...

the mini mill looks interesting.

i don't know about the chain saw tool. hope i don't need something like that, but it is nice to know that it exists.

i will take any excuse to go to harbor freight. my last toy was a little bosch staple gun. no external battery and it shoots a standard t50 staple. like $20.

That chainsaw attachment looks wicked. I predict many dicks will be accidentally cut off with those things.

:laughing0301:
Does it have an AR mount? ;)

Got to use the log splitter a little today, just to be sure it is in good working order. It's easy to use and faster than you would think possible.

I set it up on the tailgate of the pickup and that worked pretty well.

Fitted it up with a 24" handle which was about perfect.

Sure beats the splitting maul.

Like Danny Glover... I'm getting too old for that shit.

Ran through seasoned post oak like butter.

^^^ I'm no fan of horrible freight, but I have to admit their "chonda" motors are actually pretty good.

I'd swap out that manual jack for an air-over-hydraulic, and plug it into a pancake compressor...

I'm a big fan of Harbor Freight.

I get tools I'd never buy otherwise.

Wood lathe, metal brake and tube bender, electric impact... I'd never pay the Grizzly price for those tools for as infrequently as I need them.

But at the Harbor Freight price, even if I have to tweak them a little, one job pays for them.

Probably going to keep the splitter manual. Good exercise and if we see Teotwawki, I'll be glad I have it.

Picked up another one of these today at a store in SE Missouri for $71...so I suspect all the stores are discontinuing this model and these are the displays. Again no handles.

Two is one and one is none.

Might break this one down and do the air over hydraulic mod to it...keep the jack as a backup for the first one.
