Zone1 Good morning from Europe

As far as I am aware it would be very difficult to arrest anyone for their thoughts.

Freedom of speech is a thorny issue and we all know that even the USA does not have completely unfettered and unlimited rights when it comes to saying/writing whatever the individual wishes.
Thoughts can be interpreted by what books you buy; what organizations you support; the "thumbs up" you give to certain posts on social media; etc. All without uttering a word. Some claim that AI is moving towards predictive analysis of a person's behavior based on habits and patterns. I don't doubt it, personally.

I am not aware of anyone being arrested for their thoughts or what books they read. Some organisations are of course banned.

Freedom of speech is another issue.

No we have them, those rights are sometimes ignored though...in contrast, the first he/she/they of france sued the peasantry and won, that type of case would have never seen the inside of a courtroom here, and our media is above the law here, as it should be.

I am not entirely sure what point you are making.

Except the ones who find out someone is a foreigner and then attack them mercilessly. Or even the ones who pretend an American is a foreigner and does the same thing.

I think telling people where you're from, is a super bad idea. Also other person information is that same.
Its no problem to be a foreigner
Only if you are a very fragile thin skinned snowflake
Im transparent occassionaly someone said 'watch your wallet' but i laugh it off

Well, you don't really talk politics.

I've seen foreigners get attack mercilessly and then leave, because they would present a point, and then get attacked for being a foreigner.

So many people, especially you typical MAGA idiot who has no argument, but only emotions, most of which are negative emotions. They look like they're going to lose another argument, they will say whatever to win. Just like Trump.

He attacks people all the time. Why? Because he's an idiot.

Do Americans?
no, which is why we are headed down the european path
Does anyone other than a few who have studied rights?
the ones that know the media is allowed to lie and deceive do, and the ones that know calling the elite names without fear of a lawsuit against the people they pretend to represent also understand it...there are other euro type patterns being introduced to get around freedom of speech laws, GOP did it for years, now we are doing it.
